Subsample (N=50) of data on Blood Lead Levels from the succimer arm of the Treatment of Lead Exposed Children (TLC) Trial. Source: Data courtesy of Dr. George G. Rhoads (Chair, TLC Steering Committee). Reference: Treatment of Lead-exposed Children (TLC) Trial Group. (2000). Safety and Efficacy of Succimer in Toddlers with Blood Lead Levels of 20-44 µg/dL.  Pediatric Research, 48, 593-599. Description: The Treatment of Lead-Exposed Children (TLC) trial was a placebo-controlled, randomized study of succimer (a chelating agent) in children with blood lead levels of 20-44 micrograms/dL. These data consist of four repeated measurements of blood lead levels obtained at baseline (or week 0), week 1, week 4, and week 6 on 50 children who were randomly assigned to chelation treatment with succimer. Variable List: Each row of the data set contains the following 5 variables: ID, Lead Level Week 0, Lead Level Week 1, Lead Level Week 4, Lead Level Week 6. 1 26.5 14.8 19.5 21.0 2 25.8 23.0 19.1 23.2 3 20.4 2.8 3.2 9.4 4 20.4 5.4 4.5 11.9 5 24.8 23.1 24.6 30.9 6 27.9 6.3 18.5 16.3 7 35.3 25.5 26.3 30.3 8 28.6 15.8 22.9 25.9 9 29.6 15.8 23.7 23.4 10 21.5 6.5 7.1 16.0 11 21.8 12.0 16.8 19.2 12 23.0 4.2 4.0 16.2 13 22.2 11.5 9.5 14.5 14 25.0 3.9 12.8 12.7 15 26.0 21.4 21.0 22.4 16 19.7 13.2 14.6 11.6 17 29.6 17.5 21.0 24.2 18 24.4 16.4 11.6 16.6 19 33.7 14.9 14.5 63.9 20 26.7 6.4 5.1 15.1 21 26.8 20.4 19.3 23.8 22 20.2 10.6 9.0 16.0 23 20.2 17.5 17.4 18.6 24 24.5 10.0 15.6 15.2 25 27.1 14.9 18.1 21.3 26 34.7 39.0 28.8 34.7 27 24.5 5.1 8.2 23.6 28 27.7 4.0 4.2 11.7 29 24.3 24.3 18.4 27.8 30 36.6 23.3 40.4 39.3 31 34.0 10.7 12.6 21.2 32 32.6 19.0 16.3 18.6 33 29.2 9.2 8.3 18.4 34 26.4 15.3 24.6 32.4 35 21.8 10.6 14.4 18.7 36 21.1 5.6 7.3 12.3 37 22.1 21.0 8.6 24.6 38 28.9 12.5 16.7 22.2 39 19.8 11.6 13.0 23.1 40 23.5 7.9 12.4 18.9 41 29.1 16.8 15.1 18.8 42 30.3 3.5 3.0 11.5 43 30.6 28.2 27.0 25.5 44 22.4 7.1 17.2 18.7 45 31.2 10.8 19.8 22.2 46 31.4 3.9 7.0 17.8 47 41.1 15.1 10.9 27.1 48 29.4 22.1 25.3 4.1 49 21.9 7.6 10.8 13.0 50 20.7 8.1 25.7 12.3
